Samsung starts selling 1000-inch monitor The Wall

Science, technology and technology news

Samsung has announced the start of sales of The Wall – a new monitor with a diagonal of over 1000 inches.

The screen has a new Micro AI processor that uses up to 16 different models of neural networks with upscaling technologies to optimize image quality, increase its contrast and remove noise for 8K resolution.

The new generation of The Wall features wireless docking connections and a bezel-less design that halves the depth of the screens. Several displays can be assembled into a single screen with a concave, convex or L-shape, and the finished monitor can not only be installed on a solid surface, but also suspended, including at an angle.

The Samsung monitor, the company notes, is the first product in its class with 8K resolution with a 120Hz refresh rate. In addition, in the horizontal version, the display can display content in quality up to 16K with a resolution of 15360 x 2160 pixels. The 4-PBP function allows you to display four different 4K images each from four independent sources on a shared display.
