Earlier, the media wrote that the people's deputy bought a house in the center of Kyiv several times cheaper than the market price. Therefore, the head of the Servant of the People faction, David Arakhamia, said that the deputy head of the Servant of the People faction would be dismissed from his post after an investigation.

What the SAP said

We filed a report with the Office of the Prosecutor General, said Olga Postolyuk, SAPO press secretary.

In particular, the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office asked the Prosecutor General to initiate a criminal case against MP from the Servant of the People party Pavel Khalimon on the fact of illegal enrichment.

It should be noted that journalists found out that in the summer 2022 Pavel Khalimon bought a house in Pechersk in Kyiv through an intermediary. Moreover, the deal went through at a lower price.

True, Khalimon himself is not the owner of the estate. The house was presented to Anastasia Kotelenets in June 2022. Journalists saw a woman who looked like her with a small child near the estate. People's Deputy Pavel Khalimon himself was also noticed there.

  • Thanks to law enforcement sources, journalists learned that the house, together with the land 10 million 300 thousand hryvnia.
  • It is interesting that the elite estate of Pavel Khalimon is located on the Pechersk Hills, literally 5 minutes from the center of Kyiv and near the Grishko Botanical Garden.
  • It is worth noting that houses near the Botanical Garden of a similar area cost approximately 50-60 million hryvnia.
  • The head of the Servant of the People faction, David Arakhamia, reacted to the scandal. He noted that Pavel Khalimon would be dismissed from the post of deputy chairman of their faction.
  • Arakhamia also called on law enforcement officers to launch an investigation and give a legal assessment. An official from the Servants of the People assured that if Khalimon broke the law, he would be punished.
