Germany will give Ukraine new Gepard self-propelled guns and the IRIS-T air defense system.

When the new weapons arrive in Ukraine from Germany, Chancellor Olaf Scholz said during a speech in the Bundestag.

The chancellor noted that our state will receive new Gepard and IRIS-T in the coming weeks. He also stressed that Germany would continue to consistently provide military assistance to Ukraine.

Scholz said that Germany is also working to provide the Armed Forces with ammunition. In addition, the chancellor addressed critics of arms transfers, saying that his government never takes decisions on military assistance lightly.

The head of the German government promised to develop the Bundeswehr and put an end to the neglect of the armed forces.

Germany has updated the list of military aid for Ukraine

Recently, a list of weapons received by the Armed Forces of Ukraine was published on the website of the German government. Berlin increased the amount of assistance and decided to provide 300,000 shells for the Gepard self-propelled anti-aircraft artillery mount.

At first, Germany planned to transfer 3 BEAVER motor-laying tanks, and then increased their number to 9. The number of first-aid kits increased from 100,000 to 120, and Zetros trucks from 20 to 28. Ukraine will also receive an additional 10 winter camouflage nets.
