Since childhood, he dreamed of becoming a military man: defending Ukraine, a 20-year-old warrior from Kharkiv region died
On March 6, during the performance of a combat mission, defender Vasily Dragun from the village of Aleksandrovka, Kharkov region, was killed. At the end of January, the warrior turned only 20 years old.
In August 2020, Vasily was drafted into the Armed Forces of Ukraine under a contract by the Galician-Frankivsk ORVC. The guy served as the head of the repair shop for artillery weapons of the repair and restoration battalion.

In a peaceful life, the guy managed to study and help his father at home with the housework, but most of all he took care of his little sisters.
Sociable, sincere, fair, always smiling, with a sense of humor and extremely responsible – this is how Vasily will forever remain in the memory of his fellow villagers, classmates and teachers of the Alexander and Sidorenkovskaya schools, the message says.
The director of the Sydorenko Lyceum, Dina Novikova, said that Vasily always dreamed of becoming a military man, therefore, after graduating from school, he entered and studied at the Lviv National Academy of Ground Forces named after Peter Sahaydachny.
