Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, 11 city mayors and 8 other officials have been kidnapped. Ombudsman Lyudmila Denisova wrote about this in a telegram.
Russian invaders kidnap people en masse
On March 30, in the Kherson region, the Russians captured Sergei Chudinovich, a well-known public figure, volunteer and priest of the OCU. The invaders broke into the church, searched all those present, checked documents and messengers. After that, Chudinovich was taken away and taken away in an unknown direction.
In a day, Russian invaders kidnapped the mayors:
- Alexander Koshelevich (Primorsk, Zaporozhye region);
- Oleksandra Shapovalova (Berislav, Kherson region);
- Aleksandr Babich (Naked Pier, Kherson region).
Besides, in the Sumy region, the occupiers abducted Anatoly Sery , headman of the Novoborovitsky district. They set a condition: they would return it if the road to Novye Borovichi was cleared of fallen trees.
