Since the end of September, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have taken control of 2,400 square kilometers of Sloboda, – General Staff

The Ukrainian military is conducting a counteroffensive in the Kharkiv direction. Our soldiers managed to liberate more than 2 thousand square kilometers of Slobozhanshchyna from the invaders.

This was announced at a briefing by Deputy Chief of the Main Operational Directorate of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Alexei Gromov. The corresponding successes of the Armed Forces of Ukraine have been achieved since September 21.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine took control of 93 settlements

According to Gromov, since September 21, the Armed Forces of Ukraine managed to advance in enemy defense depth of 55 kilometers. Also, the brigadier general said that our soldiers have established control over 93 settlements.

It is reported that Ukrainian troops have taken control of more than 2,400 square kilometers of Slobozhanshchina.

It should be noted that at the briefing Oleksiy Gromov also spoke about the successes of the offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kherson direction. In October alone, our military dismissed 29 settlements.

Note that on October 4, the Office of the President of Ukraine informed that the Armed Forces of Ukraine had already de-occupied more than 1,500 settlements. As of October 4, 502 settlements were cleared of mines.

The offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kharkiv region: the main thing

  • Ukrainian soldiers launched an offensive in the Kharkiv region in September, as a result of which almost all region. Our soldiers returned the Ukrainian flag to Kupyansk, Izyum, Balakleya and other towns and villages.
