The YouTube channel Elbrus PC Test held a live broadcast, which showed the STALKER game on a PC with the Russian Elbrus-8C processor.

Two games participated in the test: STALKER Call of Pripyat 2009 and STALKER Clear Sky 2008. Used port of games on OpenGL.

In the test bench, in addition to the Elbrus-8C processor, there were 32 GB of DDR3-ECC RAM and a Radeon RX 580 video card.

It is noted that the frame rate in both games did not exceed 30 FPS. It often dropped to 15-20 FPS. Therefore, the choice of a Russian processor for games does not seem to be the most reasonable.

Overclockers notes that earlier enthusiasts were able to achieve 60 FPS in War Thunder on a PC with an Elbrus processor and a Radeon R9 380 video card.
