The expert noted that today the Armed Forces of Ukraine use tactics during which, in offensive operations, the military has a number of directions for possible strikes, among which only one will be the main .

You can have 2, 3 or 10 directions, but only one will be main. You also carry out a number of attacks that will “fetter” or distract the enemy. And this is the military cunning and genius of the commander or commander – guess where the enemy will use a secondary direction, and where the main one, and vice versa, – the specialist explained.

According to him, when attacking, the ideal situation for the army is when the enemy could not prepare at all and did not know where the main offensive would take place.

“We now see that Ukraine is advancing on a number of fronts, but Ukraine's main offensive is still the same, only the General Staff of Ukraine knows which one.“, Levin added.

Ukraine's goal is to liberate the entire territory

The observer believes that the choice of main and auxiliary strikes is only a way to confuse the enemy .

You need to understand that when Ukraine said that there would be a general offensive in the Kherson region, and then there was a blitz attack on the de-occupation of the Kharkiv region, then the Kherson region turned out to be a secondary area. These are military tactics and military strategy. This is done in order to intimidate, confuse and deceive, to prevent the enemy from understanding where the main military plans are, the expert pointed out.

In his opinion, de-occupation of all territories of Ukraine is a global strategic a task that is divided into many stages.

“That is, in Ukraine it is first the Kharkiv region, then the Liman operation, now Svatovo. We see similar actions in the South. Everything is done in stages: first, logistics and bridges are destroyed, and then the territories are liberated,” Levin summed up.
