Strong earthquake hits Peru
An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.7 occurred in Peru. This is reported by TASS with reference to the US Geological Survey.
It is noted that the epicenter of the tremors was located at a distance of about 200 kilometers north of the city of Cuzco, the administrative center of the region of the same name. Its population is about 312 thousand people. The outbreak was located at a depth of 13.5 kilometers. No information about casualties and destruction has been reported.
