Strong earthquake recorded in northeast India
Moscow. April 28. INTERFAX.RU – An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.1 was recorded 54 km west of the city of Tezpur (Assam state) in northeastern India, reports the Altai-Sayan branch of the Unified Geophysical Service of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
According to the data of operational processing of the Altai-Sayan branch of the Geophysical Service, the epicenter of the earthquake recorded at 05:21 Moscow time on Wednesday was approximately 20 km from the border with Bhutan.
