On Saturday, March 11, it will be rainy weather in Ukraine. In most areas, forecasters have declared a yellow alert.

In the western, southern, central regions and the Crimea, rain is expected, in the Carpathians – rain with sleet.

The wind will prevail southeast with a transition to the west, 7-12 meters per second. At the same time, wind gusts of 15-20 meters per second will be observed everywhere, except for most of the northern and Vinnitsa regions.

The air temperature at night will be 2-7 degrees Celsius, in the north-eastern regions – from 2 degrees Celsius to 3 degrees below zero. During the day, the average temperature in Ukraine will be 8-13 degrees Celsius, in the south of the Odessa region and in the Crimea – up to 17 degrees.

Forecasters warn of danger

Due to strong gusts of wind in Ukraine, experts have also introduced a level of danger. Forecasters warn that such weather conditions can complicate the work of energy, utilities and disrupt traffic on certain sections of roads and streets.

In addition, Ukrainians are reminded of a significant Level 3 avalanche hazard. The convergence of avalanches is possible in the highlands of the Transcarpathian and Ivano-Frankivsk regions.

Also, the snow avalanche danger of the 1st level is located in the mountains of Lviv and Chernivtsi regions.
