Taliban call on world to help Afghanistan with economy and education

The Taliban movement ( banned in the Russian Federation ) called on the international community to help Afghanistan in the economy, education and health care. A spokesman for the movement told Al-Jazeera TV channel, RIA Novosti reports.

“We demand from the international community to help our people in the economy, education and health care,” he said. According to him, the Taliban “will not allow anyone to reignite the war” in the country.

Earlier, the representative of the radical Taliban Mohammad Naim said that the militants are doing everything possible to resume domestic and international flights from the airport of the Afghan capital as soon as possible.

On August 30, the United States completed a 20-year mission in Afghanistan and removed all military personnel from the country. The Taliban said that with the departure of the last American soldier, Afghanistan became fully independent.
