Tanks Leopard 2 for Ukraine: a meeting of the National Security Council was held in Poland
In Poland, on January 9, a meeting of the National Security Council was held. It was held by President Andrzej Duda.
Earlier it was announced that during the meeting of the National Security Council the current security situation and the policy of the Alliance will be discussed. The details were told by Pavel Shrot, the head of the Office of the President of Poland.
On the agenda is Ukraine's request for the supply of Western-made heavy combat vehicles, including German Leopard 2 tanks, the head of the Office of the President of Poland said.
He added that Warsaw will decide on the transfer of Leopard 2 if these deliveries are carried out as part of a broad coalition.
Poland has over 240 Leopard tanks.

Official Berlin does not yet plan to transfer Leopard to Ukraine. The corresponding statement was made by the official representative of the German government. According to him, “at the moment Germany has no plans to send Leopard 2 tanks to Ukraine.”
Important! Finland is also considering the possibility of providing Ukraine with Leopard tanks. At the same time, the country has already noted that the condition is that other European states do this.
