On January 18, a helicopter with the leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs crashed on a playground in Brovary. Among the 14 dead was 27-year-old assistant to the minister Tatiana Shutyak.

The Minister of Internal Affairs Igor Klymenko spoke about this on the air of the national telethon, Channel 24 reports.

“I was one of the first from the leadership to come to the scene of the tragedy. It's hard for me to talk about it. We spent a lot of time with Denis Monastyrsky and Yevgeny Enin. We discussed problems. We often traveled with the first deputy minister to the war zone,” Klimenko said. .

According to the minister, he spent several hours daily with the leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs who died in a plane crash. Therefore, these people were close to him.

Until now, when we look at their photos, we do not believe that this happened. We (in the national police – Channel 24) knew how these people lived. Minister's assistant Tatyana Shutyak was supposed to get married in May. People planned their lives. It ended so tragically. This is a tragedy for the entire system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the state,” Klymenko said.
