The Air Force called what is needed for a successful counteroffensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine
The military of the Armed Forces is daily rebuffing the Russian invaders and is apparently preparing for a potential counter-offensive in the near future. Actually, the Air Force told us what our defenders need for this.
Oddly enough, the combat effectiveness of the Ukrainian army directly depends on the help of foreign partners. Air Force Speaker Yuri Ignat stated on the air of the national telethon that for successful counter-offensive operations of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in particular, modern long-range air defense systems and multi-role fighters are needed, Channel 24 informs .
In what case will the counteroffensive be successful?
It should be noted that in recent months the issue of supplying Ukraine with modern aircraft has been particularly acute. However, while negotiations on this matter are being held, the Ukrainian army is waiting, instead of conducting a real counteroffensive.
To achieve success in a counter-offensive operation, you need to stop the enemy (his attacking actions – Channel 24). Next – gaining air superiority, and this can be achieved with modern powerful air defense systems and modern fighters that will ensure this air supremacy in the occupied territory, the speaker said.
At the same time, he noted that it is important, in addition, to interrupt the logistics of deliveries of fuel and ammunition from the enemy. Only in this case, according to him, the counter-offensive operation will be doomed to success.
