Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to Germany Andriy Melnyk posted a funny picture on Twitter, hinting to Germany about delaying the supply of weapons to Ukraine.
The picture shows a snail with a cartridge attached to it. This should symbolize the “speed” of deliveries of military aid to Ukraine from the German government.
For a long time, Germany said that it was not ready to supply weapons to Ukraine in the fight against the Russians. However, subsequently Olaf Scholz announced the supply of Gepard systems, anti-tank weapons, interception tools, ammunition, as well as what can be used in artillery combat.

“German weapons for Ukraine are on their way.” Just received this from a government member in Kyiv via whatsapp. Well. Russia should not win the war,” Melnyk captioned the picture.
Who exactly dropped this meme to the Ukrainian ambassador is unknown, but it is obvious that everyone is interested in the answer to the question “When will German aid arrive in Ukraine?”
Probably, with such a publication, Andriy Melnyk wanted to draw the attention of the German government to the fact that Ukrainians are still waiting for the promised weapons.
The President of Poland accused Germany of not keeping his promise
The day before, in an interview with WELT -TV Andrzej Duda accused Germany of breaking his promise to exchange tanks.
“You didn't keep that promise. And frankly, we are very disappointed,” Duda stressed.
Earlier it was reported that the German government promised Poland to replace Polish tanks delivered to Ukraine with its Leopard tanks. It is noted that these deliveries weakened Poland's military potential.
Andrzej Duda confirmed in an interview that his country provided Ukraine with many tanks. According to him, this is the responsibility of Poland as a neighbor of Ukraine. Therefore, Poland hoped for the support of NATO, the United States and Germany.
The President of Poland believes that the German federal government is doing too little to help Ukraine in the military confrontation with aggressive Russia.
Germany's response to Duda's outrage
German Federal Foreign Minister Annalena Berbock discussed the tank exchange with her Polish counterpart Zbigniew Rau after Duda's criticism. Burbock spoke about the reasons for the delay in the exchange and stated that they they want to fix everything.
In particular, the official noted that Germany cannot quickly deliver heavy military equipment to Ukraine, especially not from own stocks. However, according to her, the country is working to supply more weapons, ammunition and heavy weapons.
