The General Staff of the Armed Forces spoke about the situation in the most hot spots – Kyiv, Mariupol and Kherson. The enemy continues to attack, and the defenders courageously fight back.

The General Staff reported on the situation in Kyiv, Mariupol and Kherson as of March 28, 18:00.

The situation in the hot spots of Ukraine

Despite the statements of officials of the Ministry of Defense and the General Staff of Russia about changing plans and priority tasks, the enemy continues to increase the grouping of troops around Kyiv.

Russian troops continue unsuccessful attempts to take up positions from which they could attack or encircle Kyiv,” the General Staff noted.

Units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine continue to defend Mariupol. The defenders of the city hold back the advance of the invaders in other directions. The occupiers suffer heavy losses.

Temporarily captured Kherson provides significant resistance to the Russian occupation. The enemy is forced to increasingly concentrate the forces of the Russian military and the National Guard to keep the city under his control.
