The Kyiv City State Administration clarified that peat caught fire in Vyshgorod district of Kyiv region. In this regard, the people of Kiev, especially residents of the Obolonsky district, are advised to close the windows and limit their stay on the street.

Currently, a brigade of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine is working on the spot.

Forestry is on fire in the Ivano-Frankivsk region

While peat is burning near Kyiv, in the Ivano-Frankivsk region they are trying to eliminate the fire of another Forest litter on August 27.

The forest is burning on the territory of the Svichevsky forestry of the Vygodsky society – 125 people are fighting the fire: 100 foresters and 25 rescuers. 11 pieces of equipment were involved in extinguishing the fire.

On August 28, at 13:20, the forest floor fire was localized on an area of ​​0.4 hectares.

Please note: 28-31 August in the northern, central, most western, as well as in the Donetsk and Kharkov regions, an emergency level of fire danger will prevail. The same level of danger is predicted for August 30-31 in Kherson and Zaporozhye regions.
