The camera in the upcoming flagship smartphone Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra has been declassified

Previously, there were rumors that the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra will receive a 200MP image sensor. However, it has now become clear that the flagship will have a different camera.

Reputable insider Ice Universe said Samsung would not be involved in the “megapixel war.” She decided to use the already proven 108 megapixel ISOCELL HM3 sensor. True, it will be improved, but what exactly is not yet clear.

Reporters suggested that Samsung may have encountered difficulties in producing the 200MP sensor. However, there is a possibility that the company simply realized the potential of the 108-megapixel sensor.

Earlier, it was rumored that Xiaomi would be the first company to put a 200MP image sensor in a smartphone. True, it is not yet clear in what model this solution will be implemented.
