The disintegration of the elites has begun: the ex-deputy of the State Duma told why Russian oligarchs avoid meeting with Putin
15 people left the Union of Industrialists of the Russian Federation in order not to meet with the head of the Kremlin.
Moscow hosted the International Congress of Russophiles, initiated by the Bulgarian politician Nikolai Malinov, against whom official charges of spying for the Russian Federation were brought in his homeland. In addition to Malinov, the congress was attended by such political outcasts and supporters of conspiracy theories as the grandson of the former French president, Pierre de Gaulle, who believes that “the West allowed Zelensky, oligarchs and neo-Nazis to be dragged into the spiral of war, and he came to Moscow” to promote peace and friendship, “and also actor Steven Seagal, who considers himself “100% Russophile and a million percent Russian.”
Therefore, such a measure once again shows that there really is no world support for Russia.
This opinion was expressed by the ex-deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Ilya Ponomarev.
At the same time, he noted that the meeting had a new character. For the first time with the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs there was a mass exit of businessmen.
“15 people left it, resigned their powers so as not to meet with Putin. This is a unique situation. Previously, people paid extra money to meet with Putin, but now they are thinking how to escape. like, for example, Alisher Usmanov, who generally said that he was going to live in Uzbekistan and would work there, or the son of the famous writer Stepan Solzhenitsyn. That is, everything was interesting there,” Ponomarev noted.
According to Ponomarev, the process of disintegration of the Russian elites has already begun and will accelerate.
“From a political science point of view, I believe that the process of disintegration of the elites has begun. And the fact that 15 high-ranking businessmen of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs began to run away from the very meeting with Putin speaks volumes. This is a big business club, there are billions of dollars behind every person who was there. And then I think that this process will only accelerate,” Ponomarev said.
At the same time, Ukrainian expert, investment banker Sergei Fursa noted that Vladimir Putin met with the oligarchs to once again simulate that everything is fine in Russia, and that war and sanctions harm the West more than Russia.
Recall that the media noticed the mysterious disappearance of the 20-year-old illegitimate daughter of Russian dictator Vladimir Putin. Previously, Luiza Rozova demonstrated a luxurious life in Europe and willingly gave interviews.
