This was told by the head of the joint press center of the operational command “South” Natalya Gumenyuk. broadcast of the telethon, informs Channel 24
This attack (on the night of May 26) was purely aerial, absolutely without the use of sea-based missiles: the launch vehicle was not withdrawn from the base point, – said Natalya Gumenyuk.
According to Speaker, the enemy ship group in the Black Sea continues to consist of six units, including one large landing ship.
Gumenyuk also explained why the enemy did not use sea strikes. According to her, the enemy is simply saving Caliber missiles.
“This may be due to a certain savings in calibers, although they continue to produce them, they still do not have so many of them, production is not going at such a powerful pace as they are used to,” a representative of OK Yug explained.

At the same time, Gumenyuk noted that this could be a kind of tactic, because the enemy is trying to find the most effective way to attack Ukraine.< /p>
The enemy is trying to choose the most effective tactics: as long as he can use both the prevailing air attack and XA-101, Xa-505 missiles on board strategic aviation, this is an advantage for them, plus drones from a terrorist-sponsored country from Iran. – Natalia Gumenyuk emphasized.
Regarding the attack on Kyiv, Gumenyuk noted that the enemy continues “attacks and pressure on what he calls the decision-making center.” According to her, this has two goals: psychological pressure and combat pressure.
Pay attention! During this night, the enemy launched 17 missiles of various types, as well as 31 strike drone:
- 10 X-101/X-555 cruise missiles from Tu-95MS aircraft from the Caspian Sea area;
