On April 25, Russian invaders attacked five railway stations in Ukraine. The restoration of the railway infrastructure of Ukraine after the shelling of the Russians will take months.
This is one of the hardest blows of our enemy, – the head of UZ
This was stated by the head of the Rada channel ” Ukrzaliznytsia” Alexander Kamyshin, Channel 24 reports. He commented on the consequences of Russian shelling on the railroad on April 25.
Kamyshin called the enemy's strike one of the heaviest in the entire full-scale war. He said that the missile strikes were carried out within one hour.
“In the entire history of the war, this is one of the heaviest strikes of our enemy. This is a systemic attack on 5 stations. All these missile strikes took place within one hour. Unfortunately, we see that the enemy continues to systematically beat the railway infrastructure,” the head of the UZ said.
Although train traffic lasted 1 to 2 hours, Kamyshin said that the elimination of infrastructure losses would take months.
Complete elimination of all infrastructure losses that we suffered, it will take months, he said.
The head of Ukrzaliznytsia drew attention to the fact that the Russian invaders are shelling everything, so the railway also remains the target of the invaders.
“The railway infrastructure has been an object of targeted attack for them for quite a long time. We understand that this will continue in the future” , – Kamyshin noted.
He added that Ukraine is capable of stopping the Russians on land, but in order to repel the enemy in the air, a closed sky is needed.
