Ukrainian defenders continue to defend the hottest point on the military map of Ukraine – the city of Bakhmut. The situation there is complicated and changes every hour, if not more often. However, it is not so critical to withdraw the military of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

This was stated on Channel 24 by the military-political observer of the Information Resistance group Alexander Kovalenko. He explained this by the fact that the main logistical arteries are under the control of the Ukrainian military.

“The Russians are dispersing their resources in many directions. And they cannot fully direct it, for example, in the south of Bakhmut. This gives us the opportunity not only to level, but also to maintain a fairly effective defense,” Kovalenko explained.

Russians have paradoxical tactics

The enemy is simultaneously trying to storm in several directions, which Alexander Kovalenko calls paradoxical. Along with this, the Russians want to move north to Seversk and northwest to Slavyansk.

“As for the direction of Slavyansk, they are trying to move in order to capture the main heights. So far they have not succeeded. They are moving to Seversk, because it is important for them to close this location in the near future during offensive operations in the direction of Kremenn – Liman,” – explained the military-political observer.

Battles at Bakhmut: recent events
