The enemy shelled the Sumy region and Chernihiv region for hours/Armed Forces of Ukraine

Russian troops continue to make provocations on the borders with Ukraine in areas that have already left. The enemy hopes to prevent the regrouping of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Rashist provocations on the Ukrainian borders do not stop. The enemy is shelling the northern borders, beyond which our courageous soldiers drove them out a long time ago.

Shelling of the Sumy and Chernihiv regions

As our border guards reported, during On May 16, Russian infidels carried out 6 attacks on the border regions of the Sumy and Chernihiv regions.

The shelling of the Semyonovka section in the Chernihiv region lasted more than 2 hours. Our border guards gave battle to the Reshists.

Situation in the North

In the Sumy region, an attempt was made to penetrate the territory of Ukraine by an enemy reconnaissance and sabotage group. In order to cover up the maneuver of the saboteurs, the enemy fired in order to divert the attention of the defenders of the country. The plans of the enemy were discovered, the attack was repelled.

Infidels also fired rockets at one of the border villages in the Sumy region. The enemy used unguided munitions to attack. Fortunately, there were no Russians injured as a result of rocket attacks. Fragments of enemy shells were subsequently discovered.

An artillery strike of the enemy occurred on the settlement of Tetkino, as a result of the enemy’s attack, civilians were killed. Also, a missile attack was carried out on the settlement of Ochkino.

News from the front: briefly about the main thing

• Satellite imagery showed the fourth large burial place of Mariupol residents. The mass grave at the Central Cemetery appeared tentatively in early March.
• The Russians continue to attempt offensive operations in the East, during the day on May 16 they went on the attack 8 times. Our heroes coped with the attacks of the enemy and destroyed at least 200 Rashists.
• Deputy Defense Minister Anna Malyar said that the Armed Forces of Ukraine are constantly working on a plan to de-blockade Mariupol. All data is classified so that the enemy uses plans against our soldiers.
• The Armed Forces of Ukraine manage to push back the forces of the invaders, our soldiers are moving towards the state border. The counterattack fighting continues, our defenders are doing everything so that in the near future the Kharkiv region will be free from Rashists.
