Pavel Myasoedov, partner and director of Intellectual Reserve, told Prime agency how to use an old smartphone.
The expert pointed out that throwing away old gadgets means damaging the environment. Instead, he advised selling the smartphone, using it as a backup or adapting it for creativity.
“Sell it off hand or hand it over to a store that sells such equipment. Buyers regularly need used equipment, ”explained Myasoedov. In addition, he offered to give the device to a child who does not have the skills to handle expensive gadgets and can break it.
Earlier, the head of Hi-Tech Mail.ru Dmitry Ryabinin called the deadline for replacing the smartphone. He noted that, on average, smartphone users change them about once every three years. The reason for this, he said, is the fact that the new gadgets are similar to each other, but they do not have new “chips” that could push the user to buy. He stressed that using a smartphone for longer than three years entails a decrease in battery life, since the battery degrades during this period.
