The fate of the beaver found in the center of St. Petersburg will be decided after the inspection
On the morning of Tuesday, April 20, on Yaroslavskaya Street (near the Chernyshevskaya metro station), Petersburgers noticed a beaver.
The animal was sitting in the arch of house No. 4. The environmental duty service was called to the place. Now the specialists will have to examine the beaver and decide whether it can live in the wild.
How the beaver ended up in the center of St. Petersburg is unclear. It is quite possible that this is one of the representatives of the family, which was seen on the Griboyedov Channel in February. Smolny then noted that the appearance of these animals in the city center is evidence of effective work in the field of water bodies protection.
