Gaidan about the seized hotel/Collage of Channel 24
Russian saboteurs broke into one of the hotels on the territory of Severodonetsk. For the time being, it remains beyond the control of Ukraine.
Head of the Luhansk Regional State Administration Sergei Gaidai said this. He noted that they were talking about the Mir Hotel on the outskirts of Severodonetsk.
“Yesterday, an enemy DRG penetrated the Mir Hotel, which is located in a remote area of the city. The fighting continues. Our defenders managed to liquidate two Russian company soldiers. Now we do not control the territory of the hotel yet,” Gaidai said.
The head of the OVA assured that the Ukrainian defenders are working to drive away the Russian assassins. Kafirs attack the city from different directions.
Killed 4 civilians
Infidels are continuously shelling Severodonetsk. On May 26, they wanted to enter the city from the direction of Purdovka and Shchedrishchevo. They also attacked Ukrainian defenders in the Ustinovka area.
In Severodonetsk, the Russians killed 4 residents over the previous day. Two of them died at the same time at the high-rise building. The invaders also destroyed 11 more apartment buildings and one private building.
The city is not under siege yet
The head of the military-civilian administration of Severodonetsk Alexander Stryuk noted that, despite the shelling, it is still possible to get to the city. However, the roads remain dangerous.
The fighting takes place in the vicinity of Severodonetsk. There is a significant number of Ukrainian troops there. In the settlement itself there is no light, no communication. People are in an information blockade.
Pay attention to what is happening in the Luhansk region
Danger in the Lugansk region regions
Deputy Fedor Venislavsky said that now there is a struggle for the last districts of the Luhansk region. According to him, near Severodonetsk and Lisichansk, the threat is great, because the Russians took the Ukrainian defenders in a semicircle. Currently, the Russians have an advantage in manpower and weapons.
Venislavsky noted that the military command will consider various plans to save the life of the military. The situation is aggravated due to the destruction of bridges between Severodonetsk and Lisichansk. This complicates the supply of weapons and reserves for Ukrainians.
