The first Leopard that Canada handed over to Ukraine has already arrived in Poland. In total, Ottawa plans to send four of these tanks.

The arrival of the Leopard 2 in Poland was announced by Canadian Defense Minister Anita Anand. She also showed the corresponding photo, informs Channel 24.

The first Canadian main battle tank Leopard 2, which we presented to Ukraine, arrived in Poland, – Anand noted.

Also, the head of the Ministry of Defense added that the allies will soon teach the Armed Forces of Ukraine to use this technique. Note that the “Leopard” was sent from Canada to Poland on February 4.

• Recently, the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Oleksiy Reznikov announced that Ukrainian soldiers will begin training on Leopard 2 tanks on February 6.
• Germany has also agreed to provide our state with Leopard 1. Rheinmetall and FFG can repair a significant part of their tanks and provide them to Ukraine. In total, both companies have 187 Leopard 1 tanks.
• Portugal also announced that they would provide Ukraine with Leopards. In particular, they plan to send 4 tanks.
• Note that at least 12 states have already joined the “tank coalition”. Ukraine will receive Leopard 2, Challenger 2, M1 Abrams.
