16th of May. FINMARKET.RU – Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin has approved the regulation on the Unified Information Data Management Platform, the press service of the government said. “By the end of 2021, the Unified Information Platform of the National Data Management System will operate in Russia,” the message says.
“Its main task is to improve the quality and availability of state and municipal services for citizens,” the press service explains. We are talking about creating a platform that will combine information from a variety of government systems, registries and databases. “It, inter alia, systematizes the data of the Unified State Register of Legal Entities, the Unified State Register of Real Estate, the State Register of Vehicles, and the Pension Fund,” the message says.
The information contained in these resources is now scattered across different databases, which are not updated quickly enough, and access rights to information are governed by separate agreements and are not united by general rules. “Therefore, for example, in order to collect paperwork for the sale of an apartment, a summer residence or a car, you need to spend a lot of time and effort. The launch of a new platform will speed up the exchange of information between government agencies, and hence the very process of rendering certain services to citizens,” in the message.
The system will allow not only to integrate all data on a single platform, but also to determine the sources of legally significant information, constantly monitor their reliability, relevance and consistency.
The Ministry of Digital Industry has been appointed as the operator of the new platform.
