Russian invaders continue shelling the Luhansk region. Fires broke out in Severodonetsk and Lisichansk due to enemy attacks.

The situation in the Luhansk region

Severodonetsk has suffered the most shelling over the past 24 hours. Numerous fires broke out in high-rise buildings, residential buildings and shops.

Rubezhnoye also suffers from shelling. There were 5 fires in residential buildings. Two more fires had to be put out in Lisichansk. On the morning of April 3, a local resident was injured there due to shelling.

Due to the attacks of the invaders, some residents of the region do not leave their cellars for weeks. Rescuers, law enforcement officers and local authorities deliver essential food and water to local residents.

The State Emergency Service noted that rescuers in the Lugansk region have to work at the limit of human capabilities.

All emergency response services, public utilities, volunteers are working at the limit of human capabilities. Over the past few days, public utilities have reconnected Severodonetsk to the power grid and returned gas supply to Severodonetsk and Lisichan. Every day they continue to restore the infrastructure almost destroyed by the Russians, the State Emergency Service said.
