The IMF has created a special account for donor assistance to Ukraine/IMF
The IMF made this decision a few hours ago, at the request of several member countries, in particular Canada. Prime Minister Denys Shmygal spoke about this at a government meeting.
By the way, the Government of Canada will be the first to send 1 billion Canadian dollars through this account.
Ukraine Recovery Fund
In addition, a project on the creation of the Fund for the Reconstruction of Ukraine is being submitted for consideration. It will function as a consultative and advisory body under the President.
Within the framework of the Fund, 5 working groups will be created, which will be responsible for different areas. The goal is to consolidate all possible sources for the restoration of Ukraine.
