Russian occupation forces in the Sumy region staged a planned provocation on March 29. They blew up their armored personnel carrier to make a picture for enemy propaganda.

After that, the invaders allegedly decided to take revenge. Therefore, they went and burned the Ukrainian border checkpoint.

Dmitry Zhyvitsky, head of the Sumy OVA, said this in his address . He explained that the occupiers said that their armored personnel carrier was allegedly “destroyed by the Ukrainians”.
