As of January, the Russian invaders are preparing to launch a counteroffensive in the Zaporozhye direction. The invaders are preparing defensive fortifications.

Yevgeny Yerin, head of the joint press center of the Defense Forces of the Tauride direction, said that the situation remains stably difficult. The enemy is constantly shelling the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as well as inflicting terrorist attacks on civilian infrastructure.

Yerin added that Kherson remains the most vulnerable.

On Zaporozhye increase in shelling

The head of the press center said that an increase in shelling was recorded in the Zaporozhye direction.

The enemy continues to prepare their defensive fortifications and minefields. Also, recently there has been a certain strengthening of the units of the invaders in the Zaporozhye direction, which only indicates preparations for the offensive, – Yerin said.

The Russians suffer enormous losses

Whatever the invaders planned only defeat awaits. And also – a ticket to a concert to Kobzon. As of January 15, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that 115,290 invaders had already been eliminated.

A lot of Russian equipment was also destroyed. In particular:

• tanks – 3106 (+2) units;
• armored combat vehicles – 6183 (+10) units;
• artillery systems – 2094 (+4) units;
• MLRS – 437 (+0) units.
