The Kremlin reacted boldly to the plans of The Hague to create a tribunal for Putin
It is obvious that sooner or later, but the entire Russian military command will be brought to justice because of the war crimes committed by the occupiers on the territory of Ukraine. At the same time, the Kremlin hastened to declare that they do not recognize the jurisdiction of the court in The Hague.
From the statements of Russian officials it is clear that Russia is going to ignore the norms of international law. Actually, the press secretary of the president of the terrorist state, Dmitry Peskov, voiced the Kremlin's position that the International Criminal Court in The Hague is preparing to initiate two cases due to Russia's invasion of Ukraine. This is reported by Channel 24 with reference to the enemy media.
Another portion of insanity from the Kremlin
Peskov said that Russia does not recognize the International Criminal Court in The Hague and its jurisdiction. That is, he, like other Russian officials, thinks that he will be able to avoid responsibility for everything that the Russian invaders have committed on the territory of our state.
Oddly enough, the main mouthpiece of the Kremlin in his senile statement also recalled “where were you for 8 years when the Donbass was bombed.” Although, of course, his words were completely unconvincing.
For many years, neither any international judicial bodies, even those that we do not recognize, nor other members of the international community have been able to pay attention to the destruction of civilian infrastructure, to the killings of civilians that Ukrainian nationalists organized in the Donbass,” he said.
Ukraine is working on the creation of a tribunal
- Be that as it may, however, international law is international law to be observed by all countries in the world, in particular Russia. That is, Putin and all his henchmen will not be able to avoid responsibility for this war.
- Let us add that recently the political scientist Andrei Vigirinsky noted that the number one task for all diplomacy now is the creation of a tribunal for the leadership of a hostile state.
- At the same time, human rights activist Mark Feigin stated that when the day of judgment does come, “their own people” will testify against Putin – that is, we are talking about the dictator's inner circle.
