On the last day of 2022, 23 military clashes between the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the invaders took place in the Bakhmut direction. Our soldiers inflicted colossal losses on the enemy.

This was stated by the speaker of the Eastern Group of Forces Sergei Cherevaty on the air of the national telethon. According to him, for the enemy in the Bakhmut direction now is a real conveyor of death.

What are the losses of the enemy

Sergei Cherevaty said that on the last day of 2022, the Armed Forces in the Bakhmut direction liquidated about 170 invaders and more than 200 invaders were injured.

They once again failed to break through our defenses , could not achieve any intermediate goals, Cherevaty emphasized.

According to the speaker of the Eastern Group of Forces, the Russians in the Bakhmut direction need an operational pause, but the invaders cannot afford it because of the myth that allegedly “Putin is not retreating.” Therefore, the invaders have no choice but to continue the conveyor of death, constantly throwing mobilized, recruited prisoners and various PMCs to the front line.

However, Cherevaty noted that Russia still has a mobilization resource and Soviet weapons that allow continuing similar tactics. But this situation can be corrected by providing Ukraine with high-precision weapons systems.

Statistics of Russian losses since the beginning of the invasion

As of January 1, the Russian occupying army suffered enormous losses, in particular, our soldiers liquidated and destroyed :

• 3031 tanks;
• 6084 armored fighting vehicles;
• 2021 artillery system;< /li>
• 432 multiple launch rocket systems;
• 213 air defense systems;
• 283 aircraft;
• 269 helicopters;
• 1,792 drones;
• 732 cruise missiles;
• 16 ships and boats;
• 4,720 vehicles and tank trucks;
• 181 special technique.
