On the morning of January 18, a State Emergency Service helicopter crashed near a kindergarten in Brovary. Interior Minister Denis Monastyrsky, his first deputy Yevgeny Yenin and State Secretary of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Yury Lubkovich were on it.

As of 10.50, 18 dead are known. Among them are 3 children. Oleksiy Kuleba, head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration, wrote about this.

“29 wounded are known, including 15 children. All necessary assistance is being provided to the injured. All operational services are working on the spot,” – written by Kuleba.
