Ukrainian defender and pilot Vadym Voroshilov was awarded an honorary sign in the Verkhovna Rada. He managed to destroy five Russian kamikaze drones in the Vinnitsa region and eject, saving his life.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky on Wednesday, December 28, spoke in parliament and awarded the Ukrainian military. In particular, he awarded the honorary badge “Golden Star” and the title of Hero of Ukraine to the pilot with the call sign Karaya. This is reported byChannel 24.

What merits Voroshilov was awarded for

It is known that during a massive attack by the invaders on Ukraine on October 12, Vadim Voroshilov liquidated 5 Iranian martyrs, but due to damage to the aircraft, he had to eject from the aircraft. MP Goncharenko wrote about this on his social networks.

For personal courage and heroism shown in the defense of the state sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, selfless service to the Ukrainian people, – it is officially noted.
