The police detained a suspect in the attack on train passengers in one of the districts of Tokyo, as a result of which 9 people were injured. Kyodo agency reports.

The detainee was a 36-year-old unemployed man. He explained that he saw “a happy woman and wanted to kill her.” At the same time, according to him, he did not care who would become his victim.

According to the agency, after the attack with a knife, the man also tried to set fire to a subway car. The detainee is charged with attempted murder.

Earlier in the center of Moscow, a naked man attacked a traffic police officer. The press service of the main department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the capital told RBC that the attacker was taken to the police department. The traffic police officer applied to a medical institution, he was provided with medical assistance, after which he continued his service.
