On March 16, in the Russian city of Rostov-on-Don, a large-scale fire broke out in the building of the FSB. The network has already shown the moment of ignition.
According to eyewitnesses, explosions were heard before the fire. Russian media write about this, Channel 24 informs.
How the FSB building caught fire
According to the FSB in Rostov, the cause of the fire in the building was a “short circuit” of the electrical wiring. The Russians claim that this is how the wiring burns – with an explosion that shattered all the windows.
The released footage shows that the outbreak occurred inside the building. Eyewitnesses say that ammunition detonated in the warehouse – this information is now being verified.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations and law enforcement officers have already arrived at the scene. It is preliminary known that one person died during the fire, two injured needed medical assistance.

Later, the governor of the Rostov region confirmed the preliminary version of the cause of the fire in the building of the regional border department of the FSB – an electrical short circuit.
