The number of COVID-19 cases in the world has exceeded 62 million. This is evidenced by data from Johns Hopkins University.
The number of cases of coronavirus infection in the world at 4:40 am Moscow time was 62,094,127. In total, 1,449,709 people with a confirmed disease died during the pandemic, more than 39.7 million were cured.
The largest number of people infected worldwide is observed in the USA (13,233,022). Also in the list of countries with the highest number of infected are India (9.35 million), Brazil (6.23 million), France (2.26 million) and Russia with 2.22 million cases.
Earlier it was reported that the American airline United Airlines began to deliver the Pfizer vaccine against the coronavirus around the world by air. Delivery of the drug began despite the fact that the US FDA regulator has not yet approved the vaccine.
The World Health Organization (WHO) on Saturday, November 28, revealed a record increase in the number of coronavirus infections per day: 747,082 cases of infection were registered in the world.
