The occupiers once again fired on Zolochiv in the Kharkiv region. 3 civilians were killed by occupational shells in the village.
The Kharkiv regional prosecutor's office reported that as a result of another cynical shelling by Russian invaders on the civilian infrastructure of the Kharkiv region, 3 people were killed in the urban-type settlement of Zolochiv. Shelling took place on June 21.
Enemy shells hit private houses. As a result of the shelling, unfortunately, 3 civilians of the village were killed.
A 46-year-old man died as a result of the shelling. When examining the scene of the incident, fragments of the bodies of another man and a woman were found under the rubble, the regional prosecutor's office reported.
It is also reported that the shells and debris from them damaged and destroyed several residential buildings.
< p> Under the procedural leadership of the Bogodukhov district prosecutor's office of the Kharkiv region, a pre-trial investigation into criminal proceedings has been launched. The invaders who committed the crime are accused of violating the laws and customs of war, involving premeditated murder.
The pre-trial investigation conducted by the Bogodukhovsky district police department in the Kharkiv region continues. In the future, the materials of the criminal proceedings will be transferred under jurisdiction to the Department of the Security Service of Ukraine in the Kharkiv region.
Shelling of Zolochev: the Russians once again violate the customs of war
Russia continues to use dangerous cluster bombs to target Ukrainian civilians. And Zolochev, unfortunately, was no exception. The occupiers shelled the village on the night of June 17 with cluster shells.
Pay attention! Cluster munitions are aerial bombs, artillery shells or rockets, which instead of one large explosive shell contain tens or even hundreds of smaller submunitions. This type of weapon has been banned by the International Convention since 2008. The ban was supported by 100 countries around the world. Russia, of course, did not do this.
- On the evening of June 16, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in its report reported that during the day in the Kharkov direction the enemy used cannon artillery and multiple launch rocket systems in the areas of the settlements of Zolochiv, Udy, Bayrak, Pobeda, Rubizhnoye, Verkhny Saltov, Pechenegy and Lebyazhe.
- On the morning of June 17, the military reported that the enemy was trying to conduct reconnaissance in force in the area of the settlement of Kochubiyevka, not far from Zolochev. Our soldiers responded with well-aimed fire and the enemy retreated.
- Before that, on the night of June 14, at about 4:30 Zoloche shells on parachutes. No one was killed or injured, four houses were damaged.
