The jewelry, which belonged to the late sister of Queen Elizabeth II of Great Britain, Princess Margaret, was sold at auction. The relevant material is published by the Daily Mail.

This is a Cartier bracelet worn by a member of the royal family for a photo shoot at Buckingham Palace on the occasion of the 19th anniversary. It is known that the author of the mentioned picture is the photographer Cecil Beaton. The jewelry, dated 1925, is made of two rows of pearls and is set with brilliant-cut diamonds.

The princess's personal item was reportedly auctioned off at Dix Noonan Webb in London. It was assumed that the accessory will be sold at a price that varies from 30 to 40 thousand pounds (three to four million rubles), but ultimately the product was purchased for 396.8 thousand pounds (40 million rubles).

The buyer's name was not disclosed.

In May, a Rolls-Royce was put up for sale, which had been owned by Queen Elizabeth II's late sister, Princess Margaret, for 22 years. The 1980 Silver Wraith I model had a mileage of 77 thousand kilometers. Experts estimated the cost of the 40-year lot at 45-55 thousand pounds (4.7 – 5.7 million rubles).
