On April 2, the Red Cross team left Zaporozhye for Mariupol to once again try to evacuate people from the blocked city.
The press service of the International Red Cross team stated that they could not provide detailed information about the current whereabouts of the group.
Earlier, on March 31, representatives of the Red Cross went to Mariupol to begin the evacuation of the city's residents on April 1. However, the team could not reach the city, so they returned back to Zaporozhye.
By the way, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that the invaders did not leave their intention to capture Mariupol. They plan to establish full control over the city as soon as possible. In addition, the enemy is trying to capture at least 7 settlements in the Donetsk direction.
