The Russian military continues to advance in several directions in the East of Ukraine, and also conduct defense in the South. The defense forces are holding back the invaders and preventing them from advancing deep into Ukraine.

The enemy is concentrating his main efforts on conducting offensive operations in the Limansky, Bakhmutsky, Avdeevsky, Maryinsky and Miners directions. Thanks to professional and well-coordinated actions, our defenders repulsed more than 79 enemy attacks on them.

What is the situation on the routes

In the Kupyansky and Limansky directions, during the previous day, the enemy fired artillery from the areas of Gryanikovka, Kupyansk, Krakhmalny, Tabaevka and Ternov of the Kharkov region; Novoselovsky, Stelmakhivka, Makeevka, Nevsky, Sandy and Belogorovka in the Luhansk region, as well as Grigorovka, Verkhnekamensky and Disputed Donetsk region.

In the Bakhmut direction, the enemy did not stop the assault on Bakhmut. It was in the area of this city that the most military clashes took place in the indicated direction over the past day.

Enemy attacks were also repulsed in the areas of the settlements of Orekhovo-Vasilovka, Bogdanovka and Forerunner of the Donetsk region.

The enemy shelled Vasyukovka, Minkovka, Orekhovo-Vasilovka, Grigorievka, Bogdanovka, Bakhmut, Ivanovskoye, Predtechino, Zheleznoye, Severnoye and New York in the Donetsk region. In total, more than 15 settlements suffered from such criminal actions of the invaders.

On the Avdeevka, Maryinsky and Mining directions, the enemy carried out unsuccessful offensive operations in the direction of the settlements of Novokalinovo, Novobakhmutovka, Stepnoye, Avdeevka, Severnoye, Pervomayskoye, Maryinka and Novomikhailovka of the Donetsk region.

Numerous enemy fires were fired on, in particular, Novokalinovo, Novobakhmutovka, Stepne, Kamenka, Avdeevka, Netaylovo, Lastochkino, Krasnogorovka, Georgievka, Maryinka, Vuhledar, Bolshaya Novoselka, Orlovka, Novomikhailovka and Prechistovka of the Donetsk region.

In the Zaporozhye and Kherson directions, the enemy continues to defend. At the same time, he carried out intensive shelling, in particular, of Olgovsky, Malinovka, Krasnoye, Hulyaipol, Zheleznodorozhny, Volshebnoe, Belogorye, Malaya Tokmachka, Novodanilovka, Orekhov, Novoandreevka, Stepnoy and Kamensky Zaporizhzhya regions; Red Lighthouse, Berislav, Lvov, Novotyaginka, Antonovka and the city of Kherson.

On the Volynsky, Polessky, Seversky and Slobozhansky directions, the operational situation has not changed significantly. Russia continues to maintain a military presence on the territory of Belarus. However, formations of offensive groups were not noted. At the same time, the enemy continued to equip the terrain in the border areas of the Bryansk and Kursk regions. The enemy fired from mortars and cannon artillery over 20 districts of settlements.

The defense forces worked on the occupiers

• Over the past day, Ukrainian aviation has inflicted 12 strikes on the areas of concentration of personnel and military equipment of the occupying forces. Our defenders also shot down two X-59 guided missiles and 4 UAVs of various types.
• At the same time, the missile and artillery units hit the command post, the area where the enemy's manpower, weapons and military equipment were concentrated, the anti-aircraft missile system and 2 fuel and lubricants.
