The study showed the high efficiency of “Sputnik V” against the delta strain of coronavirus

Spanish scientists conducted a study of the plasma of people previously vaccinated against COVID-19 and recovered from this virus. Specialists from the National University of Cordoba studied 309 plasma samples from patients who had undergone coronavirus and received two doses of Sputnik V vaccines, AstraZeneca (England-Sweden) and Sinopharm (China). They noted that the highest titers of antibodies against the delta strain were in those who were vaccinated with the Russian drug and had had COVID-19 earlier.

In second place in terms of high titers were those who received two doses of Sputnik V, but did not have a coronavirus infection. In third place in terms of protection were those who received two Sinopharm vaccinations and were not sick with COVID-19.
