Aleksey Danilov stressed that the work of the National Security and Defense Council has remained unchanged , including because President Volodymyr Zelensky decided on February 24 to stay in Kyiv. At the same time, some of the ministers and the NSDC apparatus left the capital, but the work continued.

The system did not crumble due to the fact that on February 24 the president decided to stay in Kyiv. All the top political leadership of our country remained in Kyiv. From the point of view of security, part of the Cabinet of Ministers, part of the NSDC apparatus, and some other departments were outside of Kyiv,” Danilov explained.

In addition, Danilov noted that communication is also important now, in particular, that mobile communications have been since the beginning of a full-scale war.
