Self-proclaimed President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko signed a decree, which is supposed to conscript in February-May 2023 for military service, service in the reserve of citizens of the Republic of Belarus.

“The document provides for conscription in February-May 2023 for military service, service in the reserve of male citizens of Belarus who are 18 years old by the day of conscription and do not have the right to deferment from conscription, who have lost the right to deferment of citizens of military age, as well as to service in the reserve of citizens from among the first-year students of institutions of higher education of our country with an agricultural profile, who have the right to deferment from conscription to continue their education and who have expressed a desire to undergo such service, “the text of the decree says.

Military activity in Belarus
