The United States will try again to launch a hypersonic missile after a failed exercise

In April, the United States Air Force (Air Force) made an unsuccessful attempt to launch an AGM-183A ARRW hypersonic aeroballistic missile. The military will not stop there.

It became known that the US Air Force will try to launch the missile again in July. Details of the weapon are classified. So far, it is only clear that the rocket will receive a solid-propellant engine and a detachable hypersonic gliding warhead.

On tests in April, the first stage of the rocket was to be launched from the suspension assembly of a B-52 bomber, start a solid-propellant engine, accelerate to operating speed and simulate the separation of a planning warhead, writes N + 1. However, the rocket did not launch at the scheduled time. What caused the failure is unknown. It is reported that the problem has been solved, and everything is ready for the next tests.
