The United States will send a new batch of military aid to Ukraine. This is reported by TASS with reference to the Pentagon.

At the same time, the US Department of Defense said that the department does not yet have specific deadlines for sending additional forces to Europe. However, the Pentagon did not rule out the possibility of bringing additional contingents into combat readiness.

“I would definitely not rule out the possibility that we will put additional troops on high alert in the coming days and weeks, and perhaps even move troops in Europe,” said US Defense Department spokesman John Kirby.

Earlier, amid reports of the evacuation of embassies of various countries from Kiev due to the threat of an alleged “attack” by Russia on Ukraine, the Pentagon announced the upcoming transfer of 8,5 thousand American troops to Europe to strengthen NATO.
