The US imposed sanctions on Chinese technology companies due to cooperation with the Russian Federation

Restrictions were imposed on 5 companies from China to purchase goods from the US and other countries , if they were manufactured using American technology.

Five Chinese companies were blacklisted by the United States for supplying military products to Russia in circumvention of international sanctions.

This was reported on Wednesday, June 29, by Reuters.

According to the US Department of Commerce, Chinese companies Connec Electronic, King Pai Technology, Sinno Electronics, Winninc Electronic and World Jetta Logistics (HK) collaborated with the Russian army before and after the Russian army invaded Ukraine. This circumstance became the basis for the inclusion of companies in the “black list”.

Companies are subject to restrictions on the purchase of goods from the United States, as well as products manufactured in other countries with American participation or using American technologies.

“Such a measure sends a clear signal to individuals and entities around the world that if they want to support Russia, the United States will stop them,” Deputy Commerce Secretary Alan Estevez was quoted by the Financial Times.

Official representative Foreign Ministry of China Zhao Lijian did not confirm or deny the accusations of Chinese firms in the supply of goods for the Russian armed forces.

Earlier, the Chinese Embassy in Washington said that Beijing did not provide military assistance to Russia or Ukraine.

Recall that the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to the United States, Qin Gang, assured that the government of his country was not aware of the Kremlin's preparations for a war against Ukraine.
